A Step In Time - Summer Journal

Ever since I closed doors to KTP in 2020, this website has laid dormant as I pursued a continuing career in teaching. 5 years ago I went back to my previous workplace and continued where I left off before I was married. I didn’t have much to write about so I let this site sit and for a season, it was left undone.

Now, in a new season of my life, where I have many new pursuits, I’d love for this to once again be a launchpad for all the information and perspective I have to offer. Here is a short list of things I’d like my updated site to serve as:

  • Application site for the Monat Opportunity - Work With Me

  • Diary of my progress as an author and publishing my books.

  • travel/life/curated site that fits my Instagram like a puzzle piece.

  • Online teaching, education, ect.

  • email list capture

That’s a well rounded website! It may take a while to curate everything as I hope, but I’m excited nonetheless.

Weekend Trip to Oak Hill

This past weekend was such a joy for our family because we celebrated our Anistyn’s High School Graduation! We are so proud of her accomplishments and the young woman she has become. After her celebration, we camped at a little campground in Oak Hill called Indian Mound RV and Fish Camp. It was bittersweet returning to this camp because the last time we were here, it was with my Nanny Ruth in 2019. She kayaked with us and was living her best life as a new widow. She has since gone home to the Lord, but when I saw the dock from which we launched our boats, it made me miss her tremendously.

My boys are getting so big! Our adventures are becoming more and more fun as they learn to discover and enjoy the world around them!

Plant Study

Here are some neat Floridian plants we saw on our trip. We like using the “Plant Identify” feature on our iPhones to see what they are! It’s not accurate all the time but for some, it’s been very informative!

This post isn’t much to start with but I hope to continue pushing out some posts weekly. thanks for joining me!
